Garlic Sautéed Green Beans

Ingredients
  • ½ -1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic. minced
  • 1ish TBSP olive oil (eye-ball it)
  • 1tbsp butter
  • 1.5 lb fresh green beans
  • Pinch of Sea salt (Himalayan prefered)
  • Fresh ground pepper
Instructions
  1. Bring to boil a large pot of salted water
  2. Remove the ends (snap) the washed green beans.
  3. Toss the green beans into the water and allow to boil until tender - about 5 minutes
  4. While cooking the the water, place olive oil, butter and onions in in a large skillet to saute'
  5. When Onions are tender add the slightly cooked green beans and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Continue to saute the green beans for an additional 5-7minutes, until the garlic is tender and the beans are soft (not mushy)
  7. Serve warm and may top with Parmesan cheese if desired
