Garlic Sautéed Green Beans

Serves: 6
- ½ -1 cup diced onions
- 2 cloves of garlic. minced
- 1ish TBSP olive oil (eye-ball it)
- 1tbsp butter
- 1.5 lb fresh green beans
- Pinch of Sea salt (Himalayan prefered)
- Fresh ground pepper
- Bring to boil a large pot of salted water
- Remove the ends (snap) the washed green beans.
- Toss the green beans into the water and allow to boil until tender - about 5 minutes
- While cooking the the water, place olive oil, butter and onions in in a large skillet to saute'
- When Onions are tender add the slightly cooked green beans and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue to saute the green beans for an additional 5-7minutes, until the garlic is tender and the beans are soft (not mushy)
- Serve warm and may top with Parmesan cheese if desired
