Chocolate, Mint, and Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt (dairy free yogurt works too, or even vegan protein powder)
  • Handful Fresh Mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp dark cocoa powder
  • Ice Cubes optional per consistency preference

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if desired.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
  • Enjoy your Chocolate, Mint, and Strawberry Smoothie immediately for a refreshing and nourishing treat!

  • Increase Protein content; add a scoop of protein powder.  ( this is what I usually do :) 
  • No fresh mint?  Add 1 drop of Mint essential oil or mint extract.  Careful not to add too much
  • Add a handful of spinach for fiber and nutrient kick
