Ancient Golden Milk Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk of your choice cashew, almond, coconut, and goat milk all work beautifully
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground black pepper don’t leave this out — it’s essential for curcumin absorption!
  • 1 tsp honey

Method
 

  1. Pour the water and milk into a microwave-safe dish (I use a large measuring cup — less mess!). Add all the spices and honey and give it a quick stir. Don’t worry if the spices don’t fully incorporate yet — they won’t until the liquid is heated.
  2. Microwave for 1 to 1.5 minutes, or heat on the stovetop over medium heat until steaming.
  3. Whisk or stir vigorously until everything is well combined and the spices are fully dissolved.
  4. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
