Balsamic Green Beans with Toasted Almonds

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz green beans trimmed
  • 4 tbsp sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Kosher or sea salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Steam or boil the green beans for 4 to 5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  2. Toast the almonds in a dry skillet for 2–3 minutes until golden. Set aside.
  3. Add olive oil and garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Toss in the green beans and balsamic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until coated.
  5. Sprinkle with toasted almonds, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
