Simple Baked Salmon with Sage and Red Onion Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds salmon
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 1 heaping teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup red onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place salmon skin side down on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle sage, oregano, and sea salt evenly over the salmon.
  5. Top with diced red onion and minced garlic.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Finish with freshly ground black pepper and serve warm.
