Lovin it! – Music, Books, Podcasts and other Stuff I am Lovin right now!

Lovin it

I am pretty excited about this post today!  This is the first of my new series of Lovin it posts!  I love ready these types of posts by other people and I have wanted to write one of my own, but never really knew how to begin…so I’ve been holding on to this idea for a while.  And today, I finally decided to just do it. Because as with stuff like this, as with EVERYTHING in life, sometimes you gotta just do it and figure it out along the way. #nonperfection

So for my Love’n It posts I will be sharing  some of the things I am Lovin’,  from clothes and other “stuff”,  to music, podcasts, books and awesome articles from around the web…whatever I am jazzed about at the moment.  I hope you find these fun, interesting and just all around joyfully awesome. 🙂

 Rockin it

Probably one of my greatest sadnesses in life, is not having a singing voice like the fierce and beautiful Adele. 🙁 Oh well, I will have to just be content with listening to her new album 25 on repeat.  Fav songs: Hello, Send my love and River Lea

Readin’ it

I love this article by a fellow RDN about the importance and power of being You.  In fact, she challenges you to raise your hand and say Yes, to being you in the month of December!

Just finished Brene’ Brown’s third book Rising Strong.  I loved it, of course.  I love pretty much everything Dr. Brown writes. #mustread

Great Article about the importance of Magnesium and it’s role in depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.

Inspiring me

I love being inspired, recently loved this On Point Podcast with Marilynn Robinson, it had so many gems including “irreverence for humanity is the point at which all decisions should be made” This is so true, and keeping this in mine can positively impact big and small decisions throughout your everyday. (More https://www.sallytwellman.com/you-gotta-listen-to-this-podcast/Podcasts I love)

As many of you know, I believe my purpose (one of them) on this earth is to impact the world women, because we are awesome and we can change the world, we just need to step into a bigger space.  And I love this Ted talk about how Women’s Equality Is Good for Everyone.   YES! (more and more  Videos I dig)

Just for fun

I saw these lovelies in a magazine and I have been pining after them ever since…they are definitely going on my Christmas list!

Have I told you love the website Modcloth?  If you haven’t visited yet, you should.  I was browsing their app one day and came across these super fun mugs.  I am somewhat of a mug connoisseur, so you can trust my judgement on this one.  Super Cute Huh?

Finally, this dress…from Anthropology.  I saw it on Pinterest and have been obsessed with it ever since.  I think it would be a lovely dress for slightly less dressy holiday parties (and beyond) , it even has a lovely name Larksong Corduroy Dress .
