I love me some 7 layered Mexican dip! It has all the makings of delicious party food, beans, guacamole, sour cream, cheese…I mean, come on! YUM-MY!
But it’s often pretty high in calories and pretty low in nutrients, so snackers beware…you can easily dip yourself into 500+ calories with the traditional 7 layer dip.
Well, I have a solution to your party food whows. This is a hummus tranformed version of the classic layered dip that is a bit lower in calories, but because I am making with Supremely Spicy Sabra hummus (lower in calories than refried beans)
Freshly mashed avocados, a bit of sour cream, fresh sliced plum tomatoes, shredded fresh baby spinach and a sprinkling of cheese on top for color. It’s so fresh and so delicious!
This is a perfect healthy dippin’ recipe to bring to your next tailgating party.
Enjoy!
