Weekly Menu: November 24 – 31

Fall Weekly Menu Planning

Thanksgiving week is upon us and  this will be a fantastically fun and full week of family, friends and food!  Because Thanksgiving is such a big, high calorie rich event, I always keep the days around it very fresh and healthy.

Here is what our menu will look like this week. 🙂

Monday:  Venison Chili – My husband recently when deer hunting and got a deer, but I told him had to use what was still in the freezer from last year…so he is making a very large batch of Venison Chili.  We will be freezing 1/2 for a meal later.

Tuesday:  Roasted Vegetables and Big Salad  with all the fix-ins – This will be the first night at my mom’s house and we will start our intensive Thanksgiving prep, so these two things are easy and light and full of micronutrients that will prepare our bodies to handle the huge meal on Thursday 🙂

Wednesday:  Chicken Gumbo with Rice and Tomato Basil Soup:  This has become our traditional night before Thanksgiving meal 🙂

Thursday:     THANKSGIVING!!!

Friday: Harvest Vegetable Soup

Saturday: Turkey Pesto Panini:  Here is the recipe and we will Make it  with the leftover turkey from Thanksgiving

Sunday:  Easy Peasy Tacos with Side salad and diced tomatoes

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Friends!  If you are still trying to put your Thanksgiving Feast together, have a gander at my menu
