I’ve got some news…

I’ve got some news, that I am both excited about and a little nervous about…I am going back to school. šŸ˜ƒ šŸŽ šŸ§ šŸ“š

I am excited and really proud to tell you that I have recently been accepted toĀ  University of Arizonaā€™s Center for Integrative Medicineā€™s Integrative Health and Lifestyle Program. Itā€™s a 6month (1 semester) distance learning course, that will be intense, but I know it will be really meaningful and valuable.

It will be exactly what I need right now because toĀ be honest, I have been feeling a bundle of unhappy emotions lately and I couldnā€™t seem to untangle them.Ā  I have been feeling a particular dissatisfaction and frustration in my work, which has been a source of great love and joy for me, so was left with a big joy-hole (ok, I know how that sounds, but couldn’t think of a better phrase). šŸ˜‚

My strongestĀ need and desireĀ is to facilitate deep mind, body and spirit healing in people I work with, and I know this type of healing work must use conventional wisdom, but also knowledge and wisdom that goes beyond conventional medicine, therapy and coaching.Ā  This wisdom is found in the realm of moreĀ alternativeĀ and sometimes mystic healing arts of the old medicine of eastern and native traditions, energy work, exploring further the mind/body connect, and our own ability to heal ourselves. So I can marry my convention medicine background with new alternativeĀ tools, and this program is research and science-based andĀ well as being at the forefront of integrative medicine, so it meets my needs as a science nerd.

Honestly, I have started my ā€œeducationā€ into many of these modalities through the wonders of the world-wide-web, but I needed more.Ā  I needĀ someone to teach me.Ā  You see, sometimes you can only get so far on your own, and when you are ready to deep dive and take your next leap, your teacher will appear and there is a solid vehicle to help you with the transformation.

So, what now?Ā  Well, I am not sure.Ā  I am on this unknown journey of life too but I need to keep allowing myself to be guided and to beĀ open to the unfolding. I suspect some of what I talk about and write about will be different, better and with more substance, but it won’t be totally new, because,Ā  I have already started applying a lot of my “informal education” over the last few years.Ā  In fact,Ā The 30 Day Reset Wellness Course, sounds pretty straightforward, but the deep healing stuffĀ a is woven throughout the whole wellness 30 Day experienceā€¦that is why it is life-changing for the people who have gone through it.

But I suppose, some things will change, like content and the amount of time I will have to spend in communication and possibly evenĀ the whole nature of my business and the work I do with my clients. Who knows. Let’s see how it turns out together, shall we?

And in the spirit of transformation, I want to offer you The 30 Day Reset Wellness Course, it is now open for enrollment!Ā  I love offering this and facilitating it throughout the 30 daysĀ it runs because it touches every part of the Mind, Body, Spirit connection and fosters real healing and transformation for those who are ready and willing to commit and be open to the process.

Maybe you too have been feeling frustrated and dissatisfied and you need a teacher and a new solid vehicle of transformation. If so, let me support you on your journey to health and happiness.

Be well,

Sally
